It is about time people stop listening to the harmful policies from the "experts." The best thing people can do is get out of the house and get out into the sun and fresh air. Protect your elders and protect the vulnerable just like you would any other time. Would you visit your grandfather if you had the flu? No? Then don't visit them when you're sick, ever.
