This is another one of those situations where the people doing it are not mentally stable and they are not honest actors in that scenario.
In reality, Trump never said or hinted at doing what any of them are doing. But the Mainstream Media did when they proceeded to mock Trump for saying it by "strawmanning" his words by saying that Trump suggested you inject or inhale things like Lysol.

No he didn't. I watched the video, heard his words. When he clarified his "joke", he did not say he was being sarcastic about inhaling and injecting things like Lysol.

Trump also asked if there was a way to use disinfectants on the body "by injection inside or almost a cleaning."
Where Lysol came from was them making a weird clarification that at no point is it appropriate to inject Lysol: clearly just virtue signaling and riding the train of anti-Trump TDS. The media latched on to this and turned this into the narrative. Headlines abounded about "Trump suggests people inject cleaning products like Lysol to fight the virus."

Didn't Trump say "inject"? Why are we talking about drinking and why are the jokes about drinking? Oh, that's because of the narrative spun by the MSM. This is why you should never trust any news source unless you can find the exact clips in question.
This scenario reminds me of the time, back in 2012, where we all believed that Sarah Palin said you can see Russia from her house. No, she didn't say that. The SNL Spoof said that. The media ran with that and talked and talked and talked about her saying that...when she never did.
