I've made the same deduction. trump would never put himself at risk, but has no problem putting his own supporters at risk by lying to them about it; and misinforming them about taking it as a preventative drug. that's part of why I feel that he deserves to catch covid and die 👆

And Trump is apparently taking it regularly. SMH.Just tell me, is anal-leakage one of the sides?
Diarrhea is, yes.
But we're talking extreme stuff. Blindness, skin dying and peeling off. Dark lesions all over your body. Paranoia, catatonic states, hallucinations, psychosis. Blisters in the eyes, liver failure, muscle atrophy, cardiomyopathy.
Plus a good other 30 or so

Okay, are these side effects that are common even if you take the recommended dosage? I have read this drug is used to treat people with lupus, do they often succumb to these side effects?
Or is it just these things can happen if someone reacts badly to the medicine?

he never said that the side effects were common

It's reasonably safe short term which is why it's used to treat rather than prevent.Using it long term to stop yourself from getting a disease isn't a good idea. The longer you take it the longer and more serious the list of side effects gets. And it gets VERY long.

Some are common. Some are relatively uncommon. Some are rare.

Looks like Belgium has fared the worst, so far.
An NP showed me this at the gym. She had some interesting insights into the COVID-19 stuff to share with us.
It's getting worse: the suicides from no money, no food, no job, and depression due to the counter-productive lockdowns:
Fauci reversed himself on reopening.
Okay, just seems like last week he was crying against it.
One of my favorite things is when the media tried to scare people into more panic by mocking the states that started to re-open.
Such as The Atlantic trying to fearmonger people about Georgia reopning:
In the grips of a pandemic, the approach is a morbid experiment in just how far states can push their people. Georgians are now the largely unwilling canaries in an invisible coal mine, sent to find out just how many individuals need to lose their job or their life for a state to work through a plague.
Hooooweee!
This writer missed their calling as a fire and brimstone preacher.
And a month later, that writer was wrong wrong wrong.
Shouldn't be a surprise: getting the young and healthy folks out of the house, out and about, is the correct way to combat a SARS virus. You need people out and about, in open areas, outside. No cooped up in small homes for days on end. But that's just what the actual epidemiologists were saying, don't mind them. Science can get f*cked.
