sorry, forgot to add:
to avoid any "strawman" misunderstanding

I mean that's the joke, but it's also a reflection of reality.Like when Joe Biden "jokes" about blacks not being able to think independently 🙂
was such a far-left-field deflection really necessary, considering you never seemed to have invested yourself in the home depot/church argument?

how is it possible to have a graduation or church ceremony where everyone in a large crowd is properly distanced?that's why I don't buy the "but home depot is open" excuse
I have a list of similar questions:
1. Why is wearing a mask required when no one - except a very teeny tiny fraction of the medically trained professionals - wears and uses them properly, thus increasing their chances of illness?
2. Why is social distancing required when people interact with and touch all the things everyone else does in all of these stores thus invalidating social distancing?
3. Why are Dem-controlled states faring much worse than GOP - "we didn't really lock down according to GPS tracking data and we opened up early, too" - controlled states?
4. Why did deaths and "case-per-test" ratios increase after states and cities locked down if locking down was effective? Why did they continue to decrease regardless of cities and states re-opening?
5. Why did Tokyo - a city twice as large and 4 times the population of NYC also a city with the largest daily influx of visitors of any city in the world, including many from China - see fewer than 200 deaths whereas NYC saw over 16,000 deaths?
I have lots of questions like these.

How does one wear it wrong? I make sure my nose and mouth are covered. This should be simple. Is there more to it?
Touch it. Mess with it. Pull it down and back up. Wear the same mask for repeated hours and in some cases, for repeated days, without properly washing it. Sneeze or cough into it. Don't wear an eye shield in addition to not following immaculate face-mask protocols.
It's tough/difficult to properly wear the facemask to get the 7% increase in protective benefits. However, wearing and using it improperly can and does make it the perfect breeding ground for respiratory illnesses such as coronavirus.
Don't take my word for it, take the advice and admonishment from actual medical professionals:
The mask is, at best, a useless placebo. At worst, a breading ground for illness due to almost everyone wearing and using them improperly.
