WorldOMeters has US deaths rounding 210K

According to WorldOMeters it's 212,730 deaths right now. We could be at 250K in November and the 300k by the end of the year model prediction could be possible, depending if we have a few bad spikes.
They did this by choosing a day in September that was really low then choosing a day in June that was really low.
I had to sit here and explain to a grown adult that you can't ignore spikes on the other days which clearly show we're still from lowest point in the pandemic.

Those types of people suffer from confirmation bias.
Granted, we may not hit the 300K by the end of the year as the model predicted, it could "only" be something like 279K, or 287 or 294K, which of course is all within the margin, but they'll ignore. Or it could be over 300K depending on the spikes. Hope not.

DDM like Trump has been very selective of his sources. This entire thread is many people providing alternate figures and analysis and DDM continuing with those which fit his model regardless of credibility until other people are bored.
Sorry, apparently Brits don't have correct grammar. 😛
Seriously though, I wish yanks would use the correct spelling of 'to' and 'too' like they even went to school.

Reminds me of that joke in The Simpsons where Homer is about to bowl a perfect game and Kent Brockman reports; 'Will Homer Simpson bowl the perfect game... or a pathetic 290-something?'

Look, I don't wanna fight out about it, I'm not a creationist.
Originally posted by Blakemorenah its what the people as a group did, the action not the individual analyses. But either would work.
