Blame the media for 24/7 hysteria.
And the funny thing is there are usually legit criticisms to be had, but they f*ck it up by whining over anything and everything. They push this hysteria, then blame Trump when the stock market takes a hit. As if they are some innocent bystander to the entire ordeal.
Did you see Don Lemon utterly melt down over Trumps speech? Do you see now even when Trump does something people agree with they can't help but use it to attack him? So when he does something they disagree with they whine. When he does something they agree with they whine.
Imagine being so diseased with TDS you can't just say "good move".

Why the Schengen area? It's a very strange announcement given that almost all those cases are from Italy and most of the countries have considerably less cases than the US.
Almost seems like virtue signalling.
I really, really don't want to believe its bitchiness over brexit or a dig at the eu. I'd much rather he say it's about his golf courses of hotels or some shit.

I don't get why the president is still allowing travel from the British Isles. Last I checked, it was part of Europe. If not, could someone please educate me on exactly which continent it is part of. 😕
Because the UK is like our dad.
The UK is the controlling, hysterical, father that the US still loves. We had our arguments when the US was a pre-teen but we made up, eventually, and went to bat for our father a few times, since then.

It's an excuse to close the borders. Also, so much travel happens in Europe that it would be nearly impossible to allow just one country if you're going to issue travel bans. Part of why the UK thing has people scratching their heads.

But the Schengen area doesn't include all the countries with free movement so it's pointless. You could simply use free movement to go to a country that isn't on the ban list and travel from there.

Because Trump's epic fumbling from the start, the lies, the inconsistency even within his own admin towards the corona virus had nothing to do with this?
"The coronavirus is contained in the US." (It wasn't, it's not...)
"There will be zero cases in a few days." (Another blatant lie)
