So anyways: does a city that allows a covid testing site to be shut down in order to film a movie take this virus seriously?Even if the decision was reversed...it was only done after backlash from the public. It's not like they said "a scientist privately contacted us and told us not to do this". This wasn't about science it was about pushback.
So is anyone willing to say that city officials who originally approved a testing site to be closed down for a film take this virus seriously? Anyone at all?

Looks like the US is crossing the 300k mark today. If we keep seeing 3k death days we could end up between 325k to 340ish deaths by end of the year 🙁
This is what happens when the highest office holder in the country tells people that a global pandemic is a Democratic hoax to steal the election, that is no more dangerous than the flu, and that mask wearing and social distancing is a globalist plot to take your freedom.
Dipshit lemmings in a personality cult march like happy idiots over a cliff.

That'd be fine if they were only marching themselves off a cliff, freedom and all, but they're taking others with them.

Oh, I thought this is what happens when Democrats encouraged people to protest the border closures in the streets, protested an extremely rare instance of police brutality for weeks, stone-walled economic recovery packages, and rehoused our elderly after they tested positive which killed tens of thousands of our elderly.
Odd that you think Trump's opinions on how long the pandemic would last actually meant anything instead of the literal actions the Democrats took that directly contributed to this situation.
You could point out the deaths per million differences between the red and blue states if you wanted to make a good point. But that point would probably harm what you're trying to convey.

I mean it would depend on if how long the site was going to be closed and how many other sites were still available. All I can say though you seem to be stuck on this train of thought for some reason.
Why close it for even one day if this is so serious?
Why not tell them to film during the hours the place would be closed? That would be at night, but so what? They can sink extra dollars into editing if need be etc. they can probably afford it more than small business owners. I mean we can't very well expect small businesses to bite the bullet on expenses(like the woman who spent thousands on outdoor heating only to still be shutdown) but not Hollywood.
And yes: because it needs to be highlighted how they don't take this seriously if they think it is okay to shut down the site for even 1 day. Could have told them to film somewhere else, etc. There were numerous options that did not involve shutting down a testing site. What about grandma? She could have died.

Rep. Crenshow tore into Pelosi over this policy. He mentioned that it is not based in science at all. He also, thankfully, mentioned that it affects the poor and small business owners.
FINALLY, someone is mentioning the little guy as it relates to the lockdowns. Sorry, my "liberal" side is showing. I care about poor people.
