What the west has seen are nothing to the numbers here if it takes hold.
And you can bet it won't exactly be well-monitored or contained in the poorer countries either.

I can only imagine how bad its gonna get. And as sad as it is, covid seems to have thought people nothing about how damaging poverty can be.

****ing hell.
Yup and we all have a long way to go still.
Heard today on the radio that there's a study which shows that the US covid deaths might actually be higher than reported. There's people studying the average deaths model of previous years and months and the numbers don't exactly line up. It's still ongoing.

U.S. Has No Covid-19 Vaccine Reserve Despite Trump Administration’s Claims, Report Says
Alt Source: 'There is no federal reserve': Governors say HHS made empty promise on more vaccine doses
Despite promising this week to free up scores of extra Covid-19 vaccine doses, the federal government doesn’t actually have a reserve of extra shots, the Washington Post reported Friday, leading public health officials to worry vaccines are in shorter supply than expected and dashing their hopes to ramp up the pace of immunizations. -snip
Honestly, not even surprised at this point. He's been lying about covid since day one.

Why does he lie so much?
I think he puts too much stock into the fact that he probably screwed over tons of people as a businessman and now he thinks his used-car salesman bluster will work on anyone and anything.
His lack of maturity probably led him to think if he kept denying Covid, it'd go away.

The denial, downplaying and deceits concerning covid-19 now has us over 400K deaths and we'll like be at 500K sooner than later.
