I can see where the misunderstanding lies. I didn't make the conspiracy theory sound batshit crazy enough. So here goes.

Nah there won't be another lockdown because remember Joe Biden is literally Satan and Republicans are all god fearing Christians who know God and Kenneth Copeland will protect them from the China virus but Belzebiden will still try and destroy them by allowing the virus to spread. Remember the unvaccinated are literally terrorists because Tucker Carlson told me Joe Biden said they were and you know how America deals with terrorists. They F̶u̶n̶d̶ kill them.

😂 👆

So the CDC finished a year long study and it's fairly interesting in the data gathered in regards to underlying medical conditions and preventing chronic disease:

https://www.cdc.gov/Pcd/issues/2021/21_0123.htm

One of the things that is surprising is that anxiety-fear related disorders had a significant impact.

To add to that, so far the post covid conditions:

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/long-term-effects.html

Which is important to note because in another thread I posted potential problems with vaccines........important to be able to weigh out that information. IMO the vaccine is a better deal.

Florida reports highest daily COVID-19 cases since January

Florida on Wednesday reported 12,647 new cases of COVID-19, the highest daily number of cases since late January, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The last time that Florida topped this number was Jan. 30, when it logged 14,654 cases. The U.S. registered 55,132 cases on Wednesday, meaning that Florida’s daily count made up about 23 percent of new cases reported by the CDC for that day. -snip

DeSantis has vowed to fight this by doing nothing. No lockdowns, no distancing, no masks mandates, in his own words: “We’re not doing that in Florida. Ok? We need our kids to breathe." -Gov. Ron DeSantis

I’m in Britain, although a lot of people still wear masks and socially distance, most people who work at the shops and pubs are saying, “you don’t need to wear it” and you might be thinking that’s weird. Well, most of us have taken the vaccinations and we’re not infected or infecting others. I think the pandemic is in its November years. It’s almost over!

In SW MO we are at 310 beds between two hospital systems managing IC, which last year we had relatively few beds used at any given time say 25-50 between the two large hospitals.

So while we did FAR better than national averages last year this year we are in the shitter for the national averages with covid d variant.

The UK is at a 54% vaccination rate, that's still 46% that are not, which the Delta variant can rip through as it's more easily transferable. Hopefully not.

Statistics like yours are going to be more and more common with the Delta variant.

dude, children and young adults like me are low risk. It’s people in their 80s and little children who’re high risk. Having said that, I’ve been vaccinated.

The Delta variant is more of an all-age-groups variant of the virus. Look what it did to India and it's believed India has unreported their numbers as to not look inept.

So everyone who can get vaccinated, should.

I’ve been vaccinated, I think I’ll be okay.

I think you will be okay too. It's the not vaccinated who are getting f**ked now.

He did not do nothing. Like Eduardo Rafael "Ted" Cruz, he left the state in the middle of a crisis.

Oh? How brave of him, I'm sure he had a good reason like Teddy did.

Ashley Moody, the Republican attorney general of Florida, tweeted on Wednesday that she has tested positive for COVID-19.

The news of Moody's positive test comes four days after she flew on the state plane with Republicans Governor Ron DeSantis and Senate President Wilton Simpson to the U.S.-Mexico border in Del Rio, Texas for a press conference with Republican Governor Greg Abbott.

TBF, she was vaccinated, she's also experiencing very mild symptoms.

Speaking of Texas: Texas has seen nearly 9,000 COVID-19 deaths since February. All but 43 were unvaccinated people.

Yes, but the takeaway is that she got it while in close contact with DeSantis at his Texas border publicity stunt for his 2024 presidential campaign, which was more important than attending to the multiple crises in Florida.

73K New COVID Hospitalization in FL, 6X Last Month

Florida's COVID-19 hospitalizations and cases again jumped significantly this week as the vaccination rate in rural counties where some of the worst outbreaks are occurring remains well below the state and national averages.

About 5,300 Floridians are now hospitalized with COVID, a 65% jump since last week and nearly a tripling since June 14th when 1,845 were hospitalized, the Florida Hospital Association said. Officials have said more than 95% of those hospitalized were not vaccinated.

More than 73,000 new coronavirus cases were reported statewide over the past week, according to the state health department, nearly seven times the 12,000 reported a month ago.

Red States Cut Back Reporting as New Cases Skyrocket

Several states scaled back their reporting of COVID-19 statistics this month just as cases across the country started to skyrocket, depriving the public of real-time information on outbreaks, cases, hospitalizations, and deaths in their communities.

The shift to weekly instead of daily reporting in Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota marked a notable shift during a pandemic in which coronavirus dashboards have become a staple for Americans closely tracking case counts and trends to navigate a crisis that has killed more than 600,000 people in the U.S.

Florida, which changed the frequency of its virus reporting earlier this month, now makes up up one-fifth of the country's new coronavirus infections.

There's a trend forming with Rightist warping reality again, where it was actually the Democrats and the Biden admin who cast doubts on the vaccines and downplayed the seriousness of covid19, and that people should not feat taking the 'Trump vaccine".

This spinning is all groundwork for the 2022 elections.
