Coronavirus

Some of these old people are grandparents, it’s not so hard believing their grandkids could visit them and accidentally gave them the virus.

Also, it’s no longer the elderly that’s dying form the virus, those in their 20’s and 30’s are also dying.

Yeah the one doctor from China who tried to spread the word about this was like 33 and he died.

The school also doesn't say whether or not they live on or off campus. So some of them could be living with parents or grandparents who are vulnerable.

Also if you show me a bowl full of M&M's and say there are 1,000 in there and only one of them is poisoned...despite the risk of me dying if I take one being very very low, I wouldn't take the chance.

And it's not like it is physiologically impossible for a young person to die from this.

People of all ages really need to try to not leave unless it's for food or medicine.

Okay so why would any city announce they aren't going to arrest people for non-violent crimes? Why not do that shit quietly? Why let criminal pieces of shit know they will get away with breaking the law?

I don't get it. Anyone have a valid explanation? Don't mention virtue signaling, I said "valid".

I’ll be honest, if after knowing of the virus, and being warned, and you still chose to act like an idiot by going to spring break, I won’t feel sorry for you if you catch said virus.

I'd feel bad in the sense they probably got family who aren't as stupid as they are who will still mourn the loss.

BoJo just declared a 3 week lockdown here in the UK. People will be allowed to venture out for emergency shopping, caring for an elderly relative, etc.

BoJos bizarre adventure begins.

And work. If you're one of the essentials. I will admit, though, once it gets warmer I will go out for peaceful bike rides.

If traveling kids and grandchildren want to risk killing their very old grandparents who have underlying conditions, that's on them.

I don't find it out of the realm of possibility that some of them live in a home with elderly people(like grandparents). We've seen people in their 30s and 40s die too so their parents could also be at risk.

Then you should put yourself in a bubble because you have a far greater chance (as do all people) of catching the seasonal flu and dying from that than you do from COVID-19.

You liked it when I brought up probabilities when it came to violent right-winger racists. My facts and probabilities resonated with you, then.

Now that we are talking about a virus, however, similar probabilities, you're all of a sudden afraid of the virus. What gives, bruh? Is it because you know the NeoNazis wouldn't kill you no matter what because you're a cracker? lol Then that's legit.

You can relax. If you live in a big city and you went out around the city at any point in time in February, you've likely encountered COVID-19 and your body already produced the antibodies for it.

Sorry double post

I agree that this is being worked up to create some sort of hysteria. The media is the main factor for having it be a constant worry, and frankly, imo these lockdowns are going to create more social unrest in the not too distant future.

Personally, if I were to get it I would very likely be okay. My mother, whom I love dearly, not so much. She is in poor health and definitely falls into the category of those most at risk. She isn't naive about it at all. She takes precautions. I take precautions for her as well. That said, I don't understand how a society would sacrifice a large portion of the economy based on the data available.

I'll call you smart and agree with you so long as you validate me. Now dance to my tune you f*ck.

Also, I'm a little concerned how the mob mentality will manifest itself in a few weeks if this continues. I would hope it would be directed towards all politicians, locally and upward. Unfortunately, I think it would be directed more towards fellow citizens. Hopefully nothing bad happens, I don't want be all doom and gloom. It's just a concern.

I was talking to an ex-marine friend of mine on the phone earlier and he told me he caught a bug a few weeks ago and had to take a week off work, after leaving the marines he went on to private military work and now does deep-sea welding, he's a bit too much of a badass to take a week off for nothing (would never say this to his face though as he's still the moronic bellend I went to school with).

If 55% of Americans Are Okay With How Trump Is Handling Coronavirus Why Are So Many People Online In a Rage?

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, looking forward to this whole mess slowing down.

I read the global deaths per day is down 2 days in a row. Or was that for Italy, only?

Regardless, I'm just seeking data that fits my conclusions (that we hit a saturation point already and we are slowly starting to wind down).

Spain is about to peak, so is the US.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

According to the survey, 54% of respondents disapprove, 43% approve, and 3% are undecided.

It looks like the reporter for Newsweek flipped the responses. That would be consistent with their mixed-factual rating, since they have failed IFCN fact checking multiple times.

Enjoy the pretend win, I guess.

Lol wow. Insanity.

You’re reading the March 11-12 results. The March 18-19 results was 55% in favor, 43% not and 1% skipped.

Also:

Trump approval jumps 4% amid growing confidence in his handling of coronavirus crisis: Poll

"Mr. Trump’s approval rating jumped to 53% in Harris’ national surveys conducted March 17 and 18, Tuesday and Wednesday, which was up from 49% in polling taken on March 14 and 15.

Support for the president is tied to the public’s view of his handling the coronavirus outbreak and his approach to foreign affairs. Approval of Mr. Trump’s management of the coronavirus crisis rose 5 percentage points to 56% in polling conducted this week. His handling of foreign affairs rose 3 percentage points to 52% in the same timeframe."

*enjoys the real win*
