It would seem so.

Like the article says: this is an epidemic so there is gonna be delays in reporting the number of deaths.

Even if this ended right this very second it would probably take a while to suss out all the damage.

Yup, it is expected given the circumstances, to be honest the huge holes and conflicts make true assessment at this time impossible.

People still need to try to make sense of the data, there is nothing wrong with it but we also have to expect that things might change.

following the data is natural. we all want to see the end equation of just how f*cked we really are. asserting that data however, is clown's work

I went into hospital for gastritis. The people with coronavirus are old and i knew one of them who was a very heavy smoker.

In other words, IT'S THE FLU. Just one that eats your lungs, but if you're old and/or a smoker, I'm not surprised you're dying.

With recent prolific testing putting the mortality rate in the ballpark of the common flu, this is a no-nonsense, science-based, decision. Unless you supported shutting down the country for the common flu, you should not support shutting down the country for SARS-CoV-2.

Good on this Governor of Georige for relying on science, and not the hysterical mainstream media, to make policy decisions.

As a technocrat, I greatly support people like this.
