Who truly has the faster reaction speed: Supes or Diana

Like I said, the 'debates' on here are boring and circular.

It's been an unwritten rule for years that we don't take characters that are mentally compromised as being able to operate at their full capacity. I feel like I'm going to have to actually write it down.

Would that apply to Immortal Hulk vs Thing?

Is there any reason it shouldn't?

There's a view from certain members of the forum that there's double standards lol. They're hellbent on "showing" this lol

Not in my opinion. 👆

Full capacity = crippling yourself and going into a coma just to break someone's mindcontrol?

More like full retard 😉

Lol... i asked the same thing. Don't think Pr was around when certain fans of a character was bashing Hulk for weeks based off his showing against Thing even though PM was controlling him.

Carver going full retard as per usual. The grownups are talking.

You can't be serious

she endured punishment MEANT for Doomsday. She did smoother stuff too, but that mainly. Blatantly stated in the comic, the showing is arguably usable, I don't see an issue with it, I can post THE scans and explain why Supes being "mind controlled" is absolutely irrelevant.

Rucka himself said that Superman out his mind in grief and rage. That he isn't acting at all like Superman would. The comic is pretty clear in showing that.

You can use it for some things, but not as any kind of measure of how Superman would perform under normal circumstances.

Plus Superman is trying to torture his opponent, which...... isn't how he fights, at all.

Apparently that's how he fights under the circumstance he perceives.

Superman was not fighting like himself.... He was fighting FAR BETTER than he usually does. He was actually using all of his abilities. Now Superman fans have to lowball their own God just to protect him. Absolutely amazing.

That's a stupid post, even for you.

So Superman wasn't fighting better??

No, he wasn't. Holding back less =/= better.

It's no coincidence that almost all his best feats happen when he's in control of himself and actually acting in a way consistent with his own character.

Greater strength, more striking power, speed, heat vision, freeze breath, punching towards the sun and super hearing was ALL used by Superman.

And? He still used them sloppily and with nothing approaching the skill or concentration he's shown on multiple occasions.

Superman was mentally compromised, and operated in a manner completely different to how he usually would. The comic shows this. The writer said this. Trying to paint it as some high feat when he has multiple higher feats that contradict it, and the argument won't hold much weight at all.
