Agreed, which is against Doomsday (who had just killed Lois).
Against WW, it would be a different story. Hence, not quite admissible with regards to how a WW/Superman fight goes.
HOWEVER, the opponent he was fighting didn't fight the way Doomsday would fight (after all, it was WW). So the fight isn't indicative of how a Superman/DD fight would go.

The comic shows this. The writer said this. Trying to paint it as some high feat when he has multiple higher feats that contradict it, and the argument won't hold much weight at all.
