Italy's numbers are kind of distorted though, because of how they are assigning deaths relative to other countries, along with the age of the population. Anyone who dies while infected, whether the infection is the actual cause, is being marked as a Coronavirus death.
Correct and "ding ding ding" we have a winner.
Type 2 errors (false positives) are rampant and part of what is feeding the hysteria.
In an autopsy series that tested for respiratory viruses in specimens from 57 elderly persons who died during the 2016 to 2017 influenza season, influenza viruses were detected in 18% of the specimens, while any kind of respiratory virus was found in 47%. In some people who die from viral respiratory pathogens, more than one virus is found upon autopsy and bacteria are often superimposed. A positive test for coronavirus does not mean necessarily that this virus is always primarily responsible for a patient’s demise.

An Arizona congresswoman appeared on the FOX News Business channel yesterday and suggested that China should forgive the U.S.'s debt to them as punishment for lying to the world.Yeah, I'm sure China will be totally fine w/doing that. 🙄
What are your thoughts about the amounts and ratios?
The U.S. debt to China is $1.07 trillion as of December 2019.1 That's 16% of the $6.7 trillion in Treasury bills, notes, and bonds held by foreign countries. The rest of the $23 trillion national debt is owned by either the American people or by the U.S. government itself.

We should just decide they forgave it and do it without their permission
That would be worse for the US in the long run, because no other country would ever want to do business with us.
Not only that, it would give our enemies an even better reason to teamed up against us. Don’t get me wrong, not many Country, even teaming up can take us on, but after prolonged fights, it would be far easier for the US to fall against an inferior army that would never once thought to be on our radars at our heights of power.

They cost the world easily 20 trillion short term in economic damage a low estimate. Possible double that depending how how long this keeps up. Every nation should sue them and use their debt with China as repayment
