No, people are not. I'm surprised you're only asking this question now. If people say yes, they're misunderstanding.
Alberto is downplaying Superman's feats with low showings. So I am merely pointing out that writers are inconsistent. Based on SOME of his showings (i.e. his high showings), yes, Superman can tank the attack.

Why though? Galactus was already amped past his normal self. Then he ate this planet to the point of being unable to contain his energy/power and exploded. The planet being destroyed is just a side effect. Thor withstanding without a scratch an all out attack from an amped Galactus is insane. That IS an abstract level ft, no denying it. I don't understand why people are even acknowledging the planets destruction because this blast is far more than just that.
Example, Doom shields withstood attacks from 4 pissed Celestials. Nothing done to the area around him, let alone the bridge he was standing on. The high showing here is WHO his shields withstood the attacks from, not the collateral damage.
Superman dies from this attack and so does Hulk just in case someone was interested in knowing.
A weakened Galactus destroys 3 star systems...
Tank hits from all of the heroes (and villains) including the Phoenix...
Stands in the heart of an exploding star unphased...
One shot kills a Celestial...
His fight against Tyrant destroyed Galaxies...
This is Galactus without even approaching the power in the scan for this thread.

Just saw the last scan, it doesn’t say what you think it says so I didn’t bother reading the rest because it’s probabaly more of the same. Comprehension failure and outright lying.
Scan says “The enmity raging between must of destroyed galaxies”. 1) it says must have, not for sure destroyed galaxies.
2) doesnt say it was a single battle. Their enmity could last centuries and battles could have taken place all over the universe. It wasn’t a single fight blast like the universe blast superboy tanked from monarch. Smh.

No.
Albert is downplaying Superman's good feats with lower showings. Therefore Dark is showing him that he can do the same to Thor (who is greatly inconsistent).
No one is literally using Thor's rock showing against him. And no one should be using Superman's low showing against him either.
