If so...then I'm not sure how you can you it doesn't have more of an horror tone considering it seemed that section was ripped right out of RE7.
It looks good and if the first video is any indication on what is going to be changed, I'm OK with it. I'm not sure I will pick this game up right away though, I just played it about 2 years ago (which is like the 10th time already)
4k version of the trailer is out! Also, one of the dudes from easy allies got to play 20 minutes. We've got confirmation that the "Bingo?" line is still in. He also saw Krauser in a flashback during the intro (he and Leon were training together in the past).

I mean, I expected the decap, that's why Leon actually blocking it took me off-guard.
I would just hope that since Leon has means of surviving Salvador swinging at him, that means the devs aren't afraid to make Salvador himself a more versatile opponent, which is honestly the impression I've gotten, considering he destroyed the supports of the roof structure.

I think the looks are alright. Leon looking like his Hook Man design. From his appearance down to the flashlight mechanic, looks like they took plenty of things from the Hook Man build. It'll be neat to see what else they use from that.
Now the voices! Instead of a chick magnet, Luis sounding like a lech and Ada Wong bland as heck but maybe so bland, it's good? Capcom must know, they've been in the business long enough to know if that makes any sense. Sally Cahill & Jolene Anderson who?

I was speaking more about Luis and Ada. I don't like how they look, personally. The voices I could take or leave.

Good news. This one is going to be the same length as the original. Expect little to no cuts, and if there are cuts, they'll have new content in place.

That said, I'd imagine Spain is a colder climate than Raccoon City. Also, the dress will likely be unlockable (I'm hoping anyway). I'm more not a fan of her face/hair and voice. ESPECIALLY the voice. The RE2make actress got replaced due to typical union stuff so they brought in the lady that played her in the Welcome to Raccoon City movie. This lady sounds bored, like she's just reading her lines off a card.
I say at least Wesker ought to be able to parry bullets in a RE5 remake. If they’re going to keep outdoing themselves in being over the top like with the Leon parry chainsaw shit, may as well keep it up.
Sadly for Chris, the boulder punch doesn’t look so impressive now when compared to the chainsaw parry… Maybe the chainsaw majini you’ll be able to parry too in said remake of 5? Who knows.
