Looking for Gamers

The thing about tier lists(in any genre) is that they only matter at the highest levels of play, unless the game is super unbalanced or the matchup is that lopsided. I mained Lambda-11/Nu-13 in Blazblue CT/CS, and the Tager matchup was about an 8-2 in their favor. It was detectable at all levels, and you could feel the Tager's desperation when you played one. Some even argued it was 9-1, as it's a zoner vs someone with nearly no way to approach.

Developers are usually more conscious of stuff like that these days though.

I'm eagerly awaiting Metroid Prime 4.

Still a year or more away most likely. 🙁

Dude, let's play together, tonight!!!!

I'll be done with my workout around 8PM CST. Will you be on, then?

Sorry I missed this. 🙁

Been without power since last Tuesday, but I'm back online. So lets set something up. (Just not tonight, promised a friend I'd give Big Brother a shot)

Tomorrow. 8PM. CST.

Working until 8 that day. Then dinner, so could do 9-9:30, if I make it back in time.

Unless you want to do 8 the next day, I'm free then. 🙂

Let's try Tuesday, then.

Game on. 👆

Are you a Megaman or Zero guy?

I don't know yet. Never played. I'll download the game, now.

Just got Zero Dawn. About to play it and then go to bed.

I'll download that other game, now.

I'm on Steam, not Epic. Can we play together, still?

Megaman is still the best.

Horizon Zero Dawn is awesome. Loved that game. Really happy it’s out doe PC now so people who don’t have a PS4 can play it.

Who knows what games have been released this year? I am not a very big gamer. But it looks like another lockdown awaits us soon. I am from https://worldpostalcode.com/united-states/minnesota/minneapolis and this time I want to prepare in advance what to do at home. And what do you think about the second wave of the coronavirus? Please share your thoughts.

So far, it's a great game. It's like Skyrim but better in most ways and worse in the one way I love Skyrim: RPG elements.

Crafting is k.

Leveling up means almost nothing.

Level ups give me paltry skill trees that do little to change the game.

Taking out the robots is very hard, at first, but then it becomes super easy once you get the knack. Now I enjoy one-shotting most. Invest in the multi-arrow and stealth stuff early...snipe bitches.

Game is beautiful. Story is good. Feels like a different color of the Assassin's Creed story, though. Just set in a post-apocalyptic future. I don't know how to explain it but it feels like the same person wrote a different version of the Assassin's Creed backstory for this game.

Anywaaaaay...I look forward to playing this game another 40-50 hours. I just wish it had a bit more "diversity" to the environment and the game had an RPG system almost identical to Fallout New Vegas.

Yeah it's not really an RPG. Essentially an action/adventure open world game with some very light RPG elements.

Combat will get much harder as you go. You fight some enormous robot dinos and you'll have to plan ahead and really strategize to win. The combat also gets more involved as you go. Consider yourself still in the training section of the game.

I recommend investing in traps when they become available. They will make some of the more difficult fights easier.

I played through the game twice. The first time I thought it was just pretty good. But on my second playthrough I really enjoyed it a lot more for whatever reason. I think the game has more in common with Zelda than AC. The combat against humans and small creatures is similar to AC, but once the combat opens up and gives you more options it loses most of those similarities.

Yeah, cross play works. Tried it with Borderlands the Pre Sequel, it works fine.

Went back to Hollow Knight after a long break, trying to challenge the Mantis bosses.

20XX gameplay totally clashes with HK gameplay. Two difterent style, 20XX is all about mashing that attack button and cutting down waves of enemies, then spamming the boss to death. HK boss fights are more dodging a bunch of attacks to land one counter, rinse repeat.

The first Mantis boss doesn't even look all that tough, but I kept finding myself attacking when I should have been dodging. Even basic fodder enemies were scoring hits on me that I used to avoid.

I need to sleep, tonight. I'm missing lots of sleep. Can we game on the weekends? Mon-Thurs sucks. I work, workout, wash my balls, sleep. Repeat.

They were a cool fight. Neat effect on the area after you beat them too.

I love the Mantis Village music. Really has that land of elite martial artists vibe, which fits them.

The Sisters of Battle version of that fight is my favorite boss in the game.

I wish someone played fighting games on PSN. 🙁

God's Trigger free on Epic.

If you like Hotline Miami, the gameplay reminds me of that. Its awesome.

Couch coop too, if you have someone to play it with.
