The fact that you two can’t see a cash grab for what it is, it’s the reason these companies continues to act the way they do.
The only RE that wasn’t a cash grab, was the first one. In the RE remake, they left all the original content, while adding new to the lore.
Where as RE2 removed some content, playing scenario A or B have no value. You have to buy the original soundtrack, even the announcers saying the title was removed.
RE3 was just flash with no bang.
Now they are remaking RE4. Why?
As for FF7, the game is been split into multiple parts for no reasons. Part one is nothing but useless fillers.
To each its own, but don’t be too much of a fanboy where you can’t tell the true.

It’s not worth paying 60 bucks for an incomplete game. The game has around 10% of story content, where the rest is all fillers.

Once again, you’re in denial that loyal FANS are willing to spend money on quality remakes, etc. By your logic, all fan service equates to mindless cash grabs even though plenty of thought and creativity has gone into each of these new iterations.

You still don’t get it do you.
Here’s an analogy. Let’s say your favorite car is the Toyota. You’ve been loyal for years, then the company comes out and say, hey you loyal fans, we know how much you like that model, we’re bringing it back, but we’re making it better.
So the new model comes out, and you went to buy it, but it’s missing a few things. For instance, it doesn’t have seat belts, nor turn signals, no ac or eat. So you’re like, what the ****? Only for the company to turn around and say, those are separate accessories.
Do you a. Say **** you and walk away
Or b. Bend over and take it just because you love that company.
