Most move in FF, minus key ones are just are cinematic in nature.
Here’s two examples of cinematic vs actually in game.
- Sephiroth Supernova Is shown destroying planets, and it’s instants. If that’s true, why would Sephiroth needs Meteor? More so, Supernova can be spammed more than once by Sephiroth, and every time he uses, we see the same planets being destroyed again and again. The game itself goes so to tell the players, that Supernova is nothing but a mere illusion. That’s cinematic.
Where as we FF8. When you use scan against Ultimecia, it says she his absorbing time and space, and all the planets. We know it’s true, because the game made it a point to actually show her absorbing to a singular point.
1. Zack fought that thing and it almost certainly used it on him... and Zack won the fight very early in the game.
It doesn't mean he was able to outpace it but it does mean he had to have reacted to it in some way, shape or form. No matter how you try to argue it, a young, inexperienced Zack still beat it in a one-on-one fight.
2. Uh... Yeah, lol. It'd make no sense if they couldn't if that was the case. "Eden did this and they survived but it doesn't mean they can actually survive that." ?????
3. Supernova was an illusion, but who cares, the point is that Zack, who defeated a near-lightspeed summon as a young, inexperienced man, was no-diffed by Sephiroth years later despite having improved exponentially to the point he was able to beat Genesis 3 ****ing times, the same Genesis that gave Sephiroth immense trouble years prior.
The point is, it's downright unreasonable to come to the conclusion that Sephiroth could somehow be slower then that summon, especially at his peak.
