Thanos and the Joker are the two best villains at Marvel & DC because neither wants what a convention baddie wants - power, control, worship etc. They crave nihilism and choas instead.

Okay wasnt trying to make this a competition. Was just pointing out DC movies should stop being scared to copy Marvel.

Like you said Marvel arguably improved on Darkseid. Maybe DC should try doing the same.

Either way, do what works. Dont run from it.

And it also depends on the version of Darkseid. I love the one from the Great Darkness Saga. He could demolish PC kryptonians and mind control billions of daxamites all at once.

That Darkseid is a beast. Post crisis he fluctuated, you had Superman shoving his face into the sun and marshmallow coming out. Then it seems after Final Crisis or whatever he became a universal threat. Darkseid on his best day would trounce Thanos on his best day, sans any external power ups. He'd make him his b*tch. He'd shove McDonalds down his throat if he even dared mention his stint working there. It won't be something good either it will be a days old filet o' fish.

Thanos is inevitable.

Darkseid Is.

Have to agree with the sentiment that Darkseid > Thanos, if both are as they are, no weaponry or power-ups

Batman can beat Thanos as he has beaten Darkseid

If Batman beat Darkseid he either used highly advanced tech or had temporary super powers.
