They didn't give the same time to Flash because it would have meant bringing back in the humour that didn't work in the original cut. So out of the 2 characters with no solo movie one of them gets loads of back story and the other gets almost nothing.

Yeah no matter how hard Snyder and WB try, they cant fix this issue. It was their retarded decision to rush into JL that can never be fixed.

Compare the Snyder cut to the first Avengers, where you already love the characters from the start, and just look forward to their interactions with each other. And that was without any need to bring in Thanos. That gem could be built up and saved over several years.

I'm like a half hour in and it's better. I'll watch the rest in bits and pieces this weekend

It was better all around than the theatrical, imo. But that's not a high bar to begin with. Would have been even better if Synder cut it down to about 3hours, as there was a lot of unneeded fluff.

Average movie watchers isnt your audience here though. This is a comic book forum with people who understands the source material. The movie just wasnt great no matter how hard you want it to be.
