Comics doesn’t always needs to be friendly, most comics aren’t friendly. Yes I do understand the toys aspect so I can see were you’re coming from. But I did like the rated R aspect of Justice League aspect.
I blame it mostly on the WB exec. There’s a story that came out that the execs wanted to release the films because they were afraid of losing their bonuses because of the merger. Even worse, they watched Whedon’s versions, and they hated it.
As a fan of both properties I can honestly say Ive seen shitty fans on both sides. Ive had DCEU fans come at me with Islamaphobic comments on some YouTube comments just because they didnt like what I was saying and saw my name.
Ive not been impressed with the DCEU in general, although I honestly wouldnt mind a sequel to Snyders JL. I liked Shazam and looking forward to more of that. And more interested in the Flash movie now that Ive seen Snyders take on Ezra Flash. But prefer the tv Flash by Miles and Miles. And just in general look forward more to the next DC show on tv/streaming than the next DCEU movie in theatres.

The DCEU execution was indeed bad. Can’t argue that. Shazam was okay for me, with the bad guy being the best of the movie. Honestly, he should have played Luthor.
Don’t care much for Ezra. When the show came out, it was pretty goo. Especially the first 3 seasons. The last time I watched it, Barry’s daughter came back to the past, and I lost interest.

If you mean the fun tone however, they could probably change up on that a bit. The Cap films were probably the only ones which took a slightly more serious tone. Whilst Ragnarok was kind of a dark comedy. But hey if a formula works....
True. If the formula works, but I liked how WB takes risks like Joker, which did well during the award season. Yeah, it's Joker, but it doesn't follow the same formula as the MCU. I hope WB does more of those types of films.
