I asked "Ronnie" (not real name) for an analogy to the trolling "Alliance" he belongs to. "Yakuza", he replied, referring to the Japanese organised crime syndicates.

We're more like the Mafia than a Biker gang said KMC poster "Ronnie". Wtf?

Why. You've seen the video thus you know exactly what she said and so you know I'm right.

it was already proven long ago when her artistically-snipped sentence was revealed in full context. wank harder, s&m 👆

"I don’t want to hear what a white man has to say about ‘A Wrinkle in Time.’ I want to hear what a woman of color, a biracial woman has to say about the film..."

"I don’t need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn’t work about A Wrinkle in Time"

“It wasn’t made for him! I want to know what it meant to women of coloor, biracial women, to teen women of color.”

I specifically called Larson out for her B.S. because she said a movie wasn't for a particular race of people to watch, enjoy/hate, and review. That's clearly caustic racism in the guise of being an SJW.

What movie was that?

Hmm...

hmm

Oh, it was A Wrinkle in Time?

And what else did she say about white men?

“About a year ago, I started paying attention to what my press days looked like and the critics reviewing movies, and noticed it appeared to be overwhelmingly white male..."

Ahhh, so dadudemon really WAS correct and honest about her words, from the very beginning?

You're correct but likely for a different reason than you're stating this. There were 2 different narratives floating around on the internet.

1. She never singled out any races - false.
2. She said she didn't want white people to see that movie - mostly false.

Likely, you're thinking #2 but that's partially false.

She said she didn't want white male critics watching the movie, reviewing it, critiquing it, etc. And that she didn't care what they think.

Notice how neither of the 2 above narratives are true?

I posted the video and article of her making her statements and I directly addressed what she said in that video.

🙂

^That's a bingo.

more gaslighting and cheerleading.

she prefers to read a review of a film directed by a black woman, which was written from the perspective of a person of color. so of course she is screaming for white male genocide.

If you can clarify what exactly your issue is with what she said, I can explain why it seems to me you are overreacting.

Given youve accused her of making outright Racist remarks, which is not only not true given the context (and Yes context ALWAYS matters), but kinda a weird accusation given she IS White herself and as far as I can tell, she Only Ever dates White Men.

Racists generally dont get into relationships with that which they hate. In fact they hardly even interact with them.

I've made my point very clear, though, so I am not sure what is left to clarify.

I'll copy and paste it again:

Reality is, she was just angry, in the moment, and said some stupid shit. Her overall point of wanting more minorities behind the controls of Hollywood is not wrong. She could have said, "I'd like to see more minorities reviewing movies like this...your voice matters, too. This movie is for all of us, including you. Let your voice be heard."

And to your point about racists, nah, there's different degrees of racists. You can be in a romantic relationship with a black person and be racist against black people.

can you have a child who is mixed race and be racist DDM... I'm interested because when I look at my baby daughter, I just see the most important and beautiful thing in my world.

Where in that does she say she doesn't want white men to see or review her movies?

That's right...

Nowhere.

I've seen lots of word salads, lots of cheerleading for said word salads, and zero proof that she said that. it's almost as if she never said it

It's a repeat of the Captain Marvel thread where I asked this very question a few times (and a valid quote if possible) and none were presented. Lots of whinging over Larson though, so much whinging.
