@Mindship: "Rump" LOL.
You must be about twelve years old.
Funny that no matter how many times he's supposedly "hit" that he is still able to repeatedly draw tens-of-thousands of people who support him to his rallies no matter where he goes (at least he did before these lockdown rules were put into place). No current democrat can claim to have done that on such a regular basis as Trump did.
So, it seems that no matter how much of an "easy target" he is to attack it doesn't look like the attacks are having any real negative effect on him. In fact, I'd argue they're actually making him stronger and solidifying his base. 😉

Everyone agrees the above statement is racist, right?
It's stupid is what it is. Reactionary defense of a broken creative process.
Just another example of how off the rails with internal corporate bs Hollywood has become. I mean, Rey, Captain Marvel, and the Ghostbusters reboot had one common thread. Really bad character writing. Just look at Battlestar Galactica 2004 and all the women there. Almost every single one is a million times more interesting then anything from the "blockbuster movies" lately. Give Starbuck a damned lightsaber. Or Roslin, the awesome school teacher turned leader while she was dying of cancer. Hell, put Six or Eight in Rey's place, far far better characters.
This means executives aren't spotting talent, but bringing in hacks and getting too close to the creative process. Kathleen Kennedy is well known for meddling, and not letting writers write and creatives helm the creative aspects always causes these problems.

Mandela in full e-ffect, yo.
You're correct but likely for a different reason than you're stating this. There were 2 different narratives floating around on the internet.
1. She never singled out any races - false.
2. She said she didn't want white people to see that movie - mostly false.
Likely, you're thinking #2 but that's partially false.
She said she didn't want white male critics watching the movie, reviewing it, critiquing it, etc. And that she didn't care what they think.
Notice how neither of the 2 above narratives are true?
I posted the video and article of her making her statements and I directly addressed what she said in that video.
