The death of George Floyd/Chauvin guilty

Remember in 2017 when John Oliver mocked Trump for talking about there not being a line for the statue vandlism and destruction?

Trump said that the line has to be drown somewhere with the crime and said it might happen to statues of Thomas Jefferson and George Washingon, specifically.

It did. It happened to both kinds of statues:

Poor John Oliver. Wrong again. It must suck that Trump, a moron, was right. How about not destroying shit?

As a Brit, I personally apologise for John Oliver. You guys deserve better.

they took down statues of Ulysses S Grant, showing they don't know history.

Dude fought against the KKK and confederacy.

Yes, he was gifted a slave, which he freed within a year

People need to not be pieces of shit and act like he's bad

Should probably campaign for better education funding.

"Don't tear down statues u know nothing about, you aren't very bright, don't make it worse"-teacher

If that was your education standard it explains a lot.

Yeah you keep talking shit bro, good luck with that 👆

Don't tear down statues period. I don't give a a shit about Grant but no one has a right to tear down statues that don't belong to them simply because they don't like the person the statue represents.

It's what he does.

He's no Stephan Colbert or John Stewart, that's for sure. They were legitimately funny back in the day.

John Olivers whole thing is taking perfectly reasonable Conservative positions, and raising his voice mockingly while laughing at himself.

Majorities of Americans Say News Coverage of George Floyd Protests Has Been Good, Trump’s Public Message Wrong

The majority of Americans belief Trump handled the murder of George Floyd completely wrong.

I gotta say: I love being better than anyone who thinks the news handled that well.

Yeah the rightist wing nuts seem more and more isolated due to the inherent dignity of the majority of Americans. May the good people continue to claw back the Great America from Trump.

If trump wins in november i'm not even linking you guys to the suicide hotline

gonna let nature take its course

This is what they fear and why they're growing more and more desperate and hostile as the numbers look less and less favorable for Trump/them.

I'm content to keep allowing whirly to play Sancho Panza to your Don Quixote.

Makes me smile 🙂

I'm legitimately shocked. It's from Pew - that are not bad pollsters and social issue researchers.

Previous research has shown that extreme forms of protest (committing crimes) makes people dislike your platform/position.

Either they grossly over-sampled for the Bradley Effect or previous research needs to be redone to see why some forms of extreme protest do not always drive people away from the message.

Don't be shocked you're just out of step with the decency of most Americans.
