The death of George Floyd/Chauvin guilty

This is beautiful:

Man wore stolen police gear after helping to torch Minneapolis Police Department precinct, charges say

"In a police interview, Wolfe admitted he stoked the 3rd Precinct fire by pushing a wooden barrel into the flames.

He also reportedly admitted to stealing several items from inside and identified himself in multiple photographs that showed a man standing in front of the East Lake Street precinct holding a police baton as the building burned behind him.

Police searched Wolfe’s St. Paul apartment and found several items belonging to Minneapolis police, including a riot helmet, 9 mm magazine, police radio and police drug overdose kit, charges say.

Wolfe was charged in federal court Monday with aiding and abetting arson."

He was still wearing the stolen body armor and duty belt when they arrested him lol. The best part is in his mugshot he is clearly about to cry:

Looks like leftists are winning the 2020 culture/civil war.

Rightists, you better get out there pronto.

Awful.

I know, it's strange sometimes what gets attention. I suppose the incredibly graphic video with the same words that were already made the slogan of the movement by the death of Eric Garner was able to capture the attention of basically everyone in society.

Pretty sure you're right. If we had the body cam footage of the police raiding that apartment and spray-firing, then seeing Breonna get blown away, that would have been the headlines.

I also think it's easier to push the racial narrative with the Floyd case than the other one. With shootings and stuff you always hear about the heat of the moment, etc. Shots were fired from the other side too(the cops are guilty though so I don't want people to interpret that fact as me saying they deserved it).

Compare that to a dude kneeling on a guy for 9 minutes.

The racial narrative. You're so lame.

At a protest this weekend Breonna Taylor's name was evoked frequently. This movement isn't based on one individual, but a people.

It's focused more around Floyd though. Which makes sense if you want to highlight racism.

That's wonderful. 👆

More people should be shouting her name from the rooftops. In fact, the entire movement should be centered around her and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend tried his best to protect her and himself with his second amendment rights. This should be an issue that all sides can get behind and agree on.

Here, the protests focused on George, police brutality, and his death. I want to see more Breonna-centered stuff.

I think we should stop propping up violent criminals for movements - there are plenty of people we can get behind on these movements that are not violent criminals.

You could be right. But I really really got buttmad about Breonna so obviously, I carry a bias about it.

I saw an interesting YouTube vid, which is hard to argue.

Basically saying that the media decides what the masses get mad at. For instance If the George Floyd vid was just floating around the internet but not getting media attention, most would have ignored it. Or suspected its fake.

Im sure theres all sorts of abuse happening around the world that the elite media could highlight if they wished to make everyone mad about it.

This is the truth. Nearly 100% of it. Even if it gets traction on social media, it is not until the PR powerhouses - known as the MSM - pick up the stories that it gets traction and incites the masses.

All the time. They get to dictate what we get mad about.

Guys...

I don't want to say I told you so...

But...

I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!

George Floyd and Chauvin had a beef! They constantly butt heads at the night club according to one of their coworkers.

The perfect example of what they don't want you to hear about is...

A couple of months ago a 7 year old girl was almost beheaded by Albanian immigrant in broad daylight in the UK.

News coverage was zero.

Actually, Floyd has literally nothing to do with it nor does police brutality against black people in general. That's just the cover story for them to use to justify tearing shit up, burning shit down, and hurting people.

The people who're rioting and looting like thugs don't really give a shit about Floyd or "black lives".
People who think they do care are naive as f***.

To any idiot that responds to me with "most of the protests are peaceful her derp!" get the f*** outta here with that shit.

Over 97% of the protesters are peaceful, they're not picking fights, breaking property, setting fires and/or stealing.

I know that doesn't fit with your usual narrative of angling things so you can dump on people of color, but it's true.

White House coronavirus task force tells governors to prepare for spike in cases from George Floyd protests, says 70 testing sites have been destroyed

Fact: we will not be blaming this on racism 👆

I literally just drove past peaceful protests today.

I havent witnessed aggressive protests yet.

Your statement is all sorts of moronic.

@surt Your opinion is your own and you're welcome to it.

Reality: It's obvious cases will go up due to the protestors. Just like with people for months not abiding with the lockdowns prior to these protest.

Reality 2.0: In regards to the protest related cases spike, people are protesting because of institutional racism, so yeah, that's where the fault lays. Racism.
