Personally I believe that police have the right to move someone who is obstructing them out of their way with reasonable force. That way they don't need to detain them. A one-handed push is not a big deal to me. A shove, which is usually two-handed and done with intent to fell someone, is out of bounds as it has intent to harm.
It all depends on situation. In this case, just an old man obstructing them.

Meanwhile, there are actually important things going on in the world.

not only condoning but...I don't know man...you gotta really believe in some shit to quit your job in protest. the fact that it was 57 of them tells me that buffalo needs to upgrade their academy screening process stat
57.
And then they wonder why the protests continue.

First time I've seen the video, looks like at least two of the three cops are shoving him. The third one seemed to barely touch him as he was shoved away by the other two.

They were hoping the city would buckle to their pressure in losing so many cops at once, but the city didn't blink and now they get to go out and be mall cops.
They did not resign from the police force, just the emergency response unit. So these corrupt ****s are still policing Buffalo.
Originally posted by RobtardYou know what, that's a very good point. I hadn't thought of that. And, actually, it made me look at the video in a different perspective: I was focusing on the cop on the right, when I should have been looking at the cop on the left: he seems to actually push the guy with his baton held in two hands. That's pretty ****ed up.

Thanks Robtard, you're actually a smart and reasonable guy, you made me look at this in a different light with direct and effective language. Some people here could learn a thing or two from you. 👆
I still think the guy was going out looking for this, but at the end of the day, if he found what he was looking for so easily, that highlights an issue just as it is, right? The cop on the (our) left clearly let his rage get to him, and reacted violently, when he should have been in a mindset of easing tensions, not heightening them.
He's also cop who stoops over the man after he falls — now I'm wondering: was he going to help him up, and the other cop stopped him, or did that other cop actually stop him from wailing on the guy some more?
