Southern strategy, you know what that is right? Basically the South appeals to racists.
Irish were considered not white, so it's assumed those racist southerners voted against Nixon for being Irish, and Nixon ironically rallied them to vote for him because blacks.
Speaking from experience, modern day Irish Americans are pretty open bigots against Italian Americans, while Sicilian Italians are racists in general, and Northern Italians are the hard working good folks who get taken advantage of in old age.
Pretty sure Putin would care less about nursing labor disputes, and would probably advise these hospitals to throw them in a gulag and be done with it.
