DDM puts the lotion on his skin or else he gets the cove again
Had a poop-before-bed and washed my hands. My hands turned into dust so I put lotion on my hands. She (wife) looked at me putting lotion on my hands an wanted to know why a man was doing it (I don't know any men who do it, as well). And in my best Buffalo Bill voice, I said, "It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again." There was visible confusion.

Truth. I refuse to mow lawns and trim the hedges.

I need to moisturize my body all of the time, to be fair. I can’t go prolonged periods of time without using lotion - I have an assortment.
So this is one of your secrets of your eternal youth?

He did the "heart rate" weight lifting thing where you make your whole workout high intensity cardio by keeping your heart rate over a certain number.
This is what I do. I run on the treadmill for a few minutes to get my heart rate up, then I try to keep it up by doing short sets of heavy weights back-to-back. I do not allow myself to rest, and if my heart rates drops below my target, I got back to the tread mill, and repeat. I do that for about 45 minutes to an hour.

Well, that method definitely works. I tried it for 2 weeks. I ended up draining all the glycogen from my muscles and I couldn't lift weights very well. I was unable to push myself during the workouts because I burned up all the fuel.
I guess it is a method to use if you already have the muscle you want but just want to lose fat. I did the jump-rope between sets thing. It's annoying because it gets in people's way.

If this happens, your muscle group might not be getting enough recovery between workouts.
