Women want 5.25–6.25 inches. That is why 95% of men are in that range. Male size is the result of female mate selection. They chose to have sex with men who had the size they found most pleasurable, and as a result, those men successfully passed on their genes.
Keep in mind, the average vagina is only seven inches deep, so anything that size or larger is going to be uncomfortable or painful for most women. That is why just under that size, in the 5.25–6.25 inch range, is their preferred size. It allows for their vagina to be filled with enough buffer at the back for their cervix.
That is not to say that someone your size, in the 7–8 inch range, is automatically painful. It depends on her individual physiology, and your technique. But larger lengths typically correspond with larger girths as well. And girth is generally what women find more pleasurable.
Their erogenous tissue is in the clitoris, and its buried network of nerves near the vaginal opening. Most of their sexual sensitivity is in the first three to four inches inside. So girth is going to stimulate that more.
