I have never had a cheese donut... what a wonderful idea. I think their is maybe a cheese gene, as its salt and fat. Linked perhaps to energy in the cold. Is she of Northern European ancestry as I think there and Eastern Europe might have the highest prevelance.
According to DNA test, she is mostly of Scottish descent, with a chunk of Irish and English. Then tiny bits of this/that. She does not tan, she goes from White to Red.

It's rare she taste a cheese she doesn't like.

This fits with observation, salt and fat are needed in ancient winters and the cold adapted phenotype seems to crave it. Which was fine when their was very little available but now I suspect is a problem and leads to many of the obesity problems faced in that demographic as people get older. I am trying so hard to eat more healthily at the moment. I can't have cheese in the house.

Makes sense. Had to fatten up to get through the barren winter.

She's pretty good at moderation when it comes to cheese. But there's always cheese in my house.

my Mrs struggles with dairy which is an African thing. The girls aren't into cheese yet, still too young really. I'm being good this time around in terms of the kids diet. That said my youngest boy who is early 20's from my second wife is a bloody giant, so eating shit works all but one of my boys is taller than me...

Had donuts on Tuesdays, two of them, First time in a pretty long time. I love donuts.
mm donuts

I like donuts, but my blood sugar is 106 on the last fast, so got to watch my intake.

Nothing beats pancakes though. With real maple syrup, or strawberries and jam.

Ron DeSantis' slogan "Make America Florida" seriously had my brain in shock it's so stupid I can barely comprehend that it's real. I can't seriously think of anything but Idiocracy. I really need to see that again.

DeSantis voters (or basically the Republican party in general)...

doughnuts are different in the UK , much sweeter and jam, chocolate syrup etc

Dunkin yeah, Krispy Kream is plenty sweet. The place I go for donuts is a place called Donut Crazy that has all kinds of crazy flavors like maple bacon, fruity pebbles, and various super sweet varities.

Some do, we call them ring doughnuts.

if i ever have a donut, it's a dunkin old fashioned, which is sweet enough for me. i don't like overly sweet things anymore

Bash, you gone off the sweet stuff?

Pretty sure Dunkin doesn't even use real sugar. Tastes like corn syrup maybe.

Krispy Kreme definitely uses sugar, but as Bash said they are far too sweet at this stage.

i dont get the hate from sugar. i think that artificial crap be worse.
