It's funny because the US military is literally decades beyond China. The aircraft carriers (which dictate conventional warfare outcomes) China recently commissioned are less capable than the US Nimitz class carriers from the 1970s. The Ford class carriers are far beyond China's.
The US has 9 carrier strike groups with 2 more Ford class on the way and China has 2 old carriers based off the abysmal Russian Kusnetzov class with another 2 new Fujian class being built. China's current naval capabilities wouldn't even reach as far as us bases in Guam, let alone anywhere else in the Pacific.
