Given adequate time, maybe someone like Gretchen Whitmer or Andy Beshear. Honestly, there are tons of options that I feel would be far better then Harris.

Too late. the whole thing is rushed because we're weeks away. The person who seems at fault for this (it was actually CNN/NBC/ABC/Satan/etc) also will go down as one of greatest one term presidents in history, and whether or not anyone believes Joe is slipping in '24, I reminded everyone that he chose Harris in '20.

Anyway, the cake has been baked

He will be remembered as the president that helped us out of COVID, who's slightly goofy and really really likes helping black people.

Deleware has a very high black population for a union state.

Until this week, Joe Biden was set to be the oldest presidential nominee in US history. Now that he has dropped out of the race, guess who wears that crown now. Go on...guess. teehee. 🙂

It's obviously Trump. If he wins, he'll be 82 by 2028.

oh well, trump got to live out his fantasy and play "real American hero" for a week and "comparatively young guy" for years, but the party is over. It's all going to be taken away from him now, and he's going to look like a deranged and feeble "grouchy grandpa poopy-diapers". Delicious

They'll just spin it from formerly being a weakness in a candidate, to being a strength.

I've said the same thing in the past, Biden should have not run and let the Democrats have a presidential primary, who knows, maybe Harris would have made it through anyways,

But are you not going to vote for her in 2024?

Not a single one person will be fooled and change to trump

JD Vance repeatedly indicated in 2016 that he believed Donald Trump had committed sexual assault

Vance appeared on a MSNBC segment in October 2016 on Trump’s alleged sexual misconduct in which an interview with Jessica Leeds, a former salesperson who accused Trump of groping and forcibly kissing her during a flight in the 1970s, was played. Vance said it was hard to believe Trump’s denials over Leeds. -snip

I love that Trump's best VP pick is a guy with less than two years experience and has a bible's worth of commentary of what a complete piece of shit he thinks Trump is.

Putin sent Tucker on an errand to warn trump that he had to pick jd vance instead of a neoconservative. He did as he was told immediately after the shooting, but that was just a coincidence

Because JD Vance is going to take a bullet for Trump? The guy he called "America's Hitler", "heroine for the masses", "as Christians we have to stop making excuses for Trump" and a laundry list of other not-flattering to outright devastating commentary.

But it wouldn't surprise me if JD Vance is taking in the ruble like Tucker is and Tucker's not even hiding it anymore.

Maybe vance was more of a 'suggested choice' in Putin's warning, and trump is allowed to pick someone else who is not neoconservative. This might allow him to make another choice, all while avoiding another coincidence.

i think that in the case of mental illness and social media's impact on it, it would be irresponsible for any social media site to stand firmly behind some silly internal website policy, and not allow someone to be perma-banned on request when they're having a mental health crisis. If they wake up tomorrow like "NOOOO lordy what have i done", they can just make a new account.

Refusing that is like...i don't know it's pretty dark...it's like an online casino refusing to close a compulsive gambler's account when they request it.

i just randomly had that opinion for no particular reason.

Picking Vance, despite his clear lack of experience and past history of shitting on Trump was done on the belief that it would be Biden-Harris. Now the game has completely changed and Trump is stuck with Vance. I guess Vance could drop out due to a "personal family reasons", but the optics would be bad.

On the election: I do wish I shared your supreme optimism in Harris winning. But imho, she's the underdog and has everything stacked against her, she's going to have to fight tooth and nail and then some more for every swing vote. I donated to Biden a few weeks ago, first time I ever politically donated. I'm going to donate to her now.

I know you think I'm like "woohoo we won 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾", I understand that It seemed that way. My elation is rooted in the hope which was almost extinguished with the last circular firing squad. Today I saw solidarity and we are avoiding that farce completely. I have hope and confidence now that most of the picky dissapointed Democrat karen-voters like you and ares [**]will vote in your best interests when the time comes. 🙂

that also includes a certain voting moderator who shall remain toeless...I mean nameless

Fair enough on the first part 👆

I'm hardly a "karen-voter" 😂 I've quite literally said I would vote for Biden with Alzheimers over Trump, as that would be less dangerous for America. So...

Warning- minor spanking ahead:

You panicked and jumped on a bandwagon, and bought a self-fulfilling media-crafted narrative of utter doom, combined with their own 24/7 loop of agreeing with themselves, which accelerated it, all because an 80 year old had the most poorly timed cold in US political history. But that's water under the bridge. *blink* all relevancy of this occurrence is negated.

Trump's numbers are being inflated. He's not gaining or losing any voters who stuck by him after J6, except for some dumb genZ who were daydreaming for the past decade. I stake my country of residency on that. That's not a boast, if even 40+% of voting Americans vote for trump, im moving the f*ck out. Maybe I'll live in a trailer park in Nova Scotia. Who's with me!

You're living in denial. While Biden's still alright, he's clearly on an age related downward slope and that visible slope was clearly hurting his re-election chances, especially with the skittish types. If the media did a "nothing to see here folks!" after the debate, it would have also been a shit-show.

While Biden did a lot better during his large post debate Q&A with the media, he was still not tip-top, he got names wrong and mumbled words. I still thought he could win though and I said that, I know you saw the post, so you're being a silly ass.

Do you think Trump's chances of losing in November are greater, lesser or about the same with Harris running now?

I think if Biden ran in 2016 he would have won the nomination and beaten Trump and Hillary Clinton would have been his VP.

I agree with that.
