You're living in denial. While Biden's still alright, he's clearly on an age related downward slope and that visible slope was clearly hurting his re-election chances, especially with the skittish types. If the media did a "nothing to see here folks!" after the debate, it would have also been a shit-show.

While Biden did a lot better during his large post debate Q&A with the media, he was still not tip-top, he got names wrong and mumbled words. I still thought he could win though and I said that, I know you saw the post, so you're being a silly ass.

Do you think Trump's chances of losing in November are greater, lesser or about the same with Harris running now?

Your opinion on my apparent denial is noted and also irrelevant now. I guess you're one of those unicorn people who can always think and articulate with perfect clarity, even with a skull full of multi colored mucus, but I happen to turn into a drowsy sloth-brained dimwit like most humans. I think the "downward slope" rhetoric is ageism, even if you don't intend it. Present evidence that he lost even a shred of wit since he was elected, not just physical signs to prove he's aging, or proof that he has a speech impediment, or proof that he gets his words mixed

I'm not, I speak way too fast and I used to stutter a lot as a child and it still comes out on the rare occasion. But I'm also not running for President where appearances and perceptions count massively.

As someone who has a mother with full blown Alzheimer's, I saw her downward slope happen just a few years ago. I don't think Biden is anywhere near that, but his speaking ability is not improving.

I've already told you I think Biden's still alright just above, he can speak and recall at great depth on a wide variety of topics of which Trump looks like a toddler in comparison via his screaming "border crisis!" and "chi-nah!". But Biden presents very poorly at times and it's due to his age, no amount of washing will cover that aspect up.

Oh, my question from above?

Biden's been like this even when he was a young senator, it's nothing new. The real problem is his struggle to get up stairs, and find his way off stage. He even admits he needs adrenaline boosts before going into public because he's physically weak.

:/

Advanced aging accelerates your chances of getting Alzheimer's exponentially, thus It does appear a direct correlation, but he can easily show all signs of natural advanced geriatric aging, (deterioration if you want to be mean about) without having Alzheimer's.

Point is you shouldn't exactly equate advanced aging with existing/advancing Alzheimer's. They are not so perfectly synchronized like that. Alzheimer's will certainly accelerate the shit out of aging, but still it's not sign-for-sign caused by aging

Sorry about your mom, though. My grandmother had it too. Difference is that she way farther than Joe into her own advanced aging before the Alzheimer's became apparent, which is probably why I have the previous states opinion. For at least a decade she was sharp, but slowing down. Like a computer with a downgraded processor. Same sharp wit, but without the zip-zip speedy thinking like when she was a spring chicken. It wasn't Alzheimer's that caused that, it's aging. Your physical and mental reflexes slow. In fact, yours and mine are beginning to slow down.

....Now I get that "thanks Lucifer" reply lol

Sorry I missed the question:

Do you think Trump's chances of losing in November are greater, lesser or about the same with Harris running now?

the media spent weeks baking a false catastrophe into the brains of democrat voters, which killed his campaign. If they had backed the **** off, Biden would have still won. So I don't understand where your question is leading. I think his chances of losing are greater, as I. already said concerning the Karen voters. However I also believe he'll lose either way (unless predictable coup attempt succeeds)

I've not said or implied Biden has Alzheimer's. Just that Biden presents poorly now due to his age and is getting worse, not better, while appearances and perception matter a whole lot in an election.

Thanks and no worries 👆

See, I don't think if the media pretended the debate was a fluke and nothing to see here, that it would have gone down well in voter's eyes.

It's unfortunate that it happened, but it happened. I was also dreading the second debate with Trump's same empty-of-any-value antics, while Biden struggled to get his meat and potato points across.

I was just curious how you felt towards Harris being the nom vs Biden remaining the nom.

I think it's a more promising situation, but it was brought about by a dystopian show of oligarchs flexing their power and forcing a president out or running for reelection.

I hope Harris will have the presidential lady-balls to twist the knife into into all their backs and: fix the supreme court, bring back the fairness doctrine, and then end "citizens united". Of course I say this because I strongly believe a historic blue tsunami is approaching

Public confidence, even from his die-hard supporters, was gone after that debate. It was clear he couldn't campaign effectively to crush an easily crushable criminal opponent.

Don't get me wrong, I would vote for a moldy bowl of soup brain over Trumpy-poo all day long, but you can't trust the general populace to do so.

Harris appears to be the perfect genetically engineered opponent for Trump. It's glorious seeing Republicans squirm right now.

Was my concern too, I'd never vote Trump, but I'm not so confident in the moderates and undecided fools.

Trump hates being talked down to, he especially hates it from women and people of color. Harris is both. eg Look how he reacted to Obama's "birther" joke towards Trump.

People should start making bets on Trump dropping an n-bomb during the debate, unless he does back out. I think there's at least a 10% chance if they do away with the muted mic.

Everything been uneventful the last few days on here then, yeah?

Good stuff.

Yeah average week

I'm really hoping we can start getting some weapons to the Palestinians so they can hit back at their invaders.

bruh...

Right? Get it done!

"Haley sends cease-and-desist to ‘Haley Voters for Harris’ group" -TheHill

🙂

“Frankly, I don’t really understand the pick,” Enten told Erin Burnett on Tuesday’s OutFront. “And apparently, neither do the American voters because we take a look at the net favorable rating for JD Vance. That’s the favorable minus unfavorable. It’s in negative net territory. Look at that. Negative six points.”

Enten says he looked at every election since 1980 and could not find another veep selection with a net negative rating.

“He is the first guy after, immediately following a convention, a VP pick, who actually had a net negative favorable rating that is underwater,” he went on. “The average since 2000 is plus 19 points, JD Vance, making history in the completely wrong way.” -Snip

Possible we see JD Vance drop out as Trump's running mate due to "I've decided to focus on my family instead..." reasons?
