I think that first debate with trump would be very high stakes. If he beat her, he would win the election easily. If she beat him, same thing. He feels like a slight favorite right now, I think he thinks he would be risking a big defeat. The only thing he fears is a big defeat. He'll call a close defeat a scam and be happy. The only outcome he fears is a landslide defeat, which a debate could give him.

Trump's saying to get out and vote to vote him in, then after that he'll rig it for Vance, who will then pardon Trump as the new President and the cycle will continue.
But there was a coup in 2020, it just failed. Would expect another.
