I loved season 1 of Heroes. One of my favorite seasons of any show, ever.
Loved season 2, but it wasn't as good as season 1. Enjoyed seasons 3 and 4 enough that I wanted more episodes.
But they cancelled it. And i was pissed. Then they revived the show back in 2015. And everyone said it was crap. That made me sad.

The Legend Of Korra is a followup to the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. It takes place in a more modern era equivalent to the 1920s. It is quite good. I was comparing it to the show Heroes in terms of which seasons were good.
In Heroes, the time stop guy was Hiro Nakamura.

First I'm just gonna say the show has been off the air for a decade so I'm not gonna use spoiler tags. Anyone reading this who hasn't seen it and wants to: avoid this post.
The first season of the show is my favorite. I remember everybody was talking about it, I watched from the beginning. Sylar is one of the best villains out there and I remember the buildup to his appearance. Actually when the season 1 finale aired I was recovering from surgery. So I remember propping myself up at a certain angle so I could watch comfortably.
When it comes to season 2 we disagree. I thought it was a disaster. I didn't like what they did with Sylar(one of my favorite characters on the show). I hated those stupid twins. I was glad when Sylar killed one.
The third season the show got good again. I liked Danko. Sylar was interesting. I liked Nathan so I didn't like to see him die and I felt they handled it weird, but eh nothing will be perfect. I do like Adam too, the immortal guy. And they powered down Peter and it pretty much had to be done cuz he was way too powerful.
Season 4 I felt was hit or miss. It wasted a lot of potential for some cliche stuff, but had some good stuff. And it ended in a way that made you want more. I wanted to know how the world would react to powers being exposed. I also wanted to see how Sylar would handle being "good" and how he and Peter would get along.
While the show was on the air and in the few years after it I did read some of the comics they had. They were online for free at one point, not sure if they still are. I liked them some of them took place before the events of season one, others during the events of the series. They were not bad.
I have not seen any of the revived tv series, the other thing I know is that it is called Heroes Reborn. I know some from the original make an appearance. I heard it is bad. Still part of me does want to eventually watch it one day, just to...I don't know, feels like I'd be finishing the series in a way.
I'm sure a decade from now someone will reboot the original series.
