Badabing, come over to the Discord. Bring everyone.
Tbh, Bada and the moderators general fairness and commonsense make the Voltron discord site completely pointless and it can only lead to weird drama like Gathering Static did, generally centred around DDM unrestrained by independent moderation.
Thanks Ddm, but no thanks.

I want people to save this post so I don't have to explain it again.I couldn't find why Whirly's original account was banned. I went back, search the last posts and saw nothing. As I recall, the current active mods didn't know the reason. I think the closest we got was a vague reference to a disagreement between Whirly and Storm or Lil B. That's it.
So yes, Whirly made sock accounts. And most of us knew which sock accounts were his and which were copy cat accounts. They all weren't Whirly's.
So there was mod consensus to let Whirly com back, officially, since we couldn't find a reason for the original ban.
Time/Broly was allowed back for different reasons and under different circumstances. As was one of the Star Wars posters. Each one made their own amends and contrition.
Much appreciated. 👆

It's been done a million time and failed every time. "I'm gonna make my own kmc, with blackjack and hookers". It never worked, even when this site was very active. Many were organized by obviously manipulative sociopaths.

Loads since, some definately with anterior motives and some where people meant well but without adult oversight were destined to have issues. They end up too like msn chat imho.

Don't Brits drink "sessionable", e.g. weaker drinks so you can keep going all night without passing out?
No generally speaking it's all the same stuff. The big name supermarket brands are generally not too strong, much like 'lite' beer in the US. Then there are the stronger brands, typically Belgian or German, they're about 20-25% stronger. Wine, liqueur and spirits are the same the world over.
Ever had Wray and Nephew? It's an overproofed white rum that's 70% abv, rocket fuel.

If I drink beer, it has to be at least 4% :/
Originally posted by cdtmThe funny thing is, we often call certain ales 'session ales', because they're supposed to be roughly 3%, but most modern 'session ales' are like 5%, same as normal ales. It's weird, idgi

No, that's Americans.
I keep seeing these ridiculously overpowered craft beers though. Passed on one the other day when I read the 9% abv label.
As much as I enjoyed having four 9-10 percenters in a row over a decade ago, that's not something I can do anymore.
Prefer a nice, average strength, tasty drink or two. Samuel Smith hits that sweet spot, especially their chocolate stout.
