A Wytchwood is Discribed as "Ruby Red".Is that anything like Killian's Irish Red?
Originally posted by cdtmYeah, tbf USA does have some crazy strong ales, but they're only at liquor stores and I don't see the need.
I keep seeing these ridiculously overpowered craft beers though. Passed on one the other day when I read the 9% abv label. As much as I enjoyed having four 9-10 percenters in a row over a decade ago, that's not something I can do anymore.
Prefer a nice, average strength, tasty drink or two. Samuel Smith hits that sweet spot, especially their chocolate stout.
Someone mentioned Sam Smith's. That should be your rule of thumb.

I like Guinness but its too heavy for a good session. You get full before you are pissed. Now Stella, chemicals and all that's piss up beer.
Originally posted by Blakemoreyeah, I once got made to throw up on Guinness as part of a rugby initiation. ****ing horrible, that was at University too.
