Hate this.
Because being the "God of Thunder" is what defines him, and they took it away. I mean, The Flash is the speed god, so if Superman ever beat him in a race, I'd be pretty miffed about that too.
If he isn't the apex weather guy, what is he? Not the strongest, that's Hulk. Far from the smartest. He's just another really strong guy in a pack of really strong guys.
Storm at least has more going for her then just her powers.
I still game on a 360. You can laugh. 🙂
I waited too long into this gen, and planned on buying into next gen. But there aren't enough games to justify it yet.
So I've been playing on a non gaming laptop and leeching games off Epic Game Store for now.
Good games though, Alien Isolation and Borderlands is timeless stuff.

Superman has beaten The Flash at least once in a race.

For the writer of the article to come to that conclusion based off of this logic-
"Arriving on the scene to help finish what Thor couldn’t, Storm immediately shows her strength as a weather goddess, even getting Thor to subtly admit yet again that he isn’t as powerful as expected by saying, “No contagion, no matter how foul, could hope to overcome our combined might!” Replying, “It’s good to be a Storm God, Thor,” Storm simultaneously shows that Thor isn’t the most powerful God of Thunder and that when it comes down to it, she could probably out-thunder him any day."
-is a massive reach.

Ah right, the Tom King thing.
Yeah, you're right. The thing is, Flash was really limited back then, as that was WALLY, and had some pretty hard limits on how deep he can tap into the speed force. Superman by contrast was pushing himself beyond his limits, while Wally didn't have that kind of motivation to risk his life meddling with the speed force.
Still don't think it should have happened though. I liked it better then King has Superman fight an alien in a boxing match to save a little girl, and no matter what he could NOT win the fight. But he inspired the boxer enough to get him to throw the match and help him out. Way more inspiration then "Look see, Superman is as fast as he needs to be!"

Best use of Sunday time.
Whirly, as someone with a. British background, have you heard the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy radio broadcasts? Or are you a fan of Douglas Adams at all?
The books were a pretty big deal for an 80's kid, it was all anyone talked about that wasn't Ninja Turtles or Nintendo.
I went down the rabbit hole of Hitchhiker lore some years ago, and was amazed they continued to make radio shows. Arthur Dent get a girlfriend, has a future daughter called "Random", and visits a planet where the highest calling is making sandwich's. And Marvin has his best depressed rant ever, sees the words of god saying "Ww are terribly sorry about this", and dies happy.
Not sure if I should even consider any of it canon, without Douglas Adams input and all.

That is canon.
The sandwiches he makes are from the perfectly normal beasts !
They're a plot point to get out of his stone age deli dilemma.

Do you consider the radio program the "definitive hitchhikers" though?
The canon is funny, in that the franchise began as a radio show that was adapted into a book series, but the book Mostly Harmless came first and was later adapted into a radio program.
And both the book and radio have very different elements to them.
Started a first time play of Fallout 3. Normally in games like Mass Effect, I play the "good guy". First thing I did in Fallout 3 was stumble across a woman named Sarah Silver, who apparently owed money to a bartender.
Called her a whore and beat her dead for her bottle caps. Wasn't even intending to escalate it that quickly, I just wanted to see what the dialog options did and wasn't prepared to agree to help someone against someone else I never even met, and before I knew she was on the ground with a shattered skull, and I was 500 caps richer.
And I don't even know what the caps are for yet! 😱
