Reagan won both elections in massive landslides. He re-election win was even a bigger landslide than his first one against the joke Jimmy Carter. So obviously he was doing something right and Americans overall had a very favorable view of him.

But I'm not really surprised that a commie-lover who loves big government over individual and states' rights would think that Reagan was bad.

Sure, internationally. Not so sure about in the US. Soccer isn't exactly big here to begin with, let alone Reagan being our guy.

So is Ronaldo losing any money from this deal?

I want to applaud him for putting his personal values ahead of money, but for two things:

1. I'm not certain if Coke was sponsoring him personally, or only the organization he works for.

2. Ronaldo himself is probably worth far more money to the international football association, and he knows it. He can afford to **** around a little because he knows he's in no danger of being cut. He is "cancel proof" essentially.

Maybe he's trying to extort more money for himself, and setting an example of how much damage he can do if not happy?
