Science fiction is crap.

^ terrible opinion and possibly a vendetta against true artistry.

Isaac Asimov'a Foundations series is awesome!

It's nothing like I was expecting. It's essentially a political story, about the gradual fall of great empire, and the slow crawl back to a second one.

The fall of Rome was clearly a great influence here.

True artistry is the knee Godzilla vs Kong movie. It’s the pinnacle of cinema.

Confirmed my point.

Barney and friends was a good film too.

Modern films are shit.

They had more freedom to work with and better material.

To some extent all films and entertainment is a reflection of the ruling classes beliefs. Films about pulling yourself up by your bootstraps or achieving great things means a motivated underclass of workers and achievers. Romantic comedies are to some extent poking fun at the "everyman", with the audience being the butt of the joke. And dystopian movies are essentially metaphors for how the ruling elite conquered us all.

But now we live in an age where that same ruling elite is terrified of revolt, and so movies that target incels like "Joker" or "Cuck" has become a norm, in a desperate attempt to normalize us from radicalization.

For many this works, but discontent continues to grow, and we are no longer being entertained or properly distracted. Film makers themselves have become so oppressed they aren't even allowed the bare minimum of creative outlet (For I don't claim film makers are active participants in propaganda. They merely are forced to abide by checklists of do's and don'ts, and have a rulers vision encrouch on their own)

romcoms we’re originally called “the women’s film” because they star a woman who wants to fall in love and laugh at a guy who was a bit of a twit who should have married her at first sight. A good example would be knotting hill.

Now we have bromance shit which kinda destroys The Who point of romantic comedies.

Not that I’m a big fan of them, tbh.

Electric Razer's are a waste of money. Always ends up looking like you're too lazy to shave properly.

Get that movie outta here, everyone knows When Harry met Sally is the biz🙂

Ok, I get there's always someone with a phone out there. But you're telling me someone was recording her BEFORE she ever started speaking, in a perfectly level video capture?

I think it's staged. I mean, it ended up all over the MSN and got a ton of attention, which I think was the point.

I watched the note book with an ex gf at university, it’s shit.

Also my house mate spoiled it in the first few minutes because he’s a total **** who thought the living room is his despite the fact he payed rent to the landlord just like all the other housemates did. Some people are real assholes who don’t understand what sharing is.

I think the biggest problem is the franchise system that started in the 70s. Now, James Bond is forgivable because they’re all different, but films used to have simple titles.

Terminator, Jaws, Halloween, Rocky, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Matrix, Alien, Predator, Ghostbusters, Batman, Superman, (any superhero movie really)

Now they have to make sequel after sequel or remake or reboot and each one sucks even more because it’s like “we already saw that, show us something new, oh wait, I take it back, stop making new things” because they obviously don’t get the point.

Why can’t they just have a simple story of a relatable protagonist, a comic relief side character, a love interest and some bad guy. I don’t care about flashy effects, I care about a main character with a story arc and a goal and some bad guy they defeat. Even Lord of the rings got that right, but of course it became a franchise just like the rest.

Inflation has increased dramatically across the board since the joke who we call "president" now has taken office.... smh.

Our border is being overrun with illegal aliens and the Biden/Harris team isn't doing squat about it because they actually want our country flooded with illegals. Our military is also becoming a joke with all of this woke leftist bs that has been infecting it and our individual rights are in more danger of being completely trampled over than they have ever been. I could go on and on and on.

But hey, at least we don't have a president that is tweeting mean things! Ain't that right, snowflakes?! 😉

I was a bit like that in my student house. I even stole good cheese and replaced it with happy shopper shit. 🙂

I think most students are dickheads, but he was one of the worst. I left for a few weeks and told him everything would turn to shit if I’m not there. He moved out in two weeks. He must’ve finally caught on that everyone hated him.

my first wife and I shared a student house with 4 other people, we would gang up with two others and bully the rest of the house
.

I never bullied anyone, nor did I get bullied myself, it was mostly people stealing or begging or making a mess because of alcoholism and laziness that were the main problems, but with the cvnt I’m on about he was so territorial he’d stand in the doorway to block your path or eavesdrop on me whilst I was on the phone talking to my mum who had cancer and later died that year. He tried being a rude cheeky racist cvnt as well and eventually I just threw him across the room. He looked terrified. He knew he did wrong. I saw him a few years later at a KFC because he lived near me. He left quickly. He knew I’d beat the shit out of him.
