I bought L.A. Noire today for Switch.

Been reading comics all day so I didn't have time to play it.

Heard it's good.

I've seen that for sale in playstation store and have considered on several occasions buying it but always resisted the tempation in favor of buying other games or simply saving my money so I can later spend it on PS5 titles when I eventually get a PS5.

The screenshots of game didn't look very impressve to me and I also read some of the critical reviews online about the game that helped me resist the urge to buy it.

I've so far been happy for the most part with the games I've bought in place of it with a few exceptons (like Far Cry 2; what a huge disappointment that game is).

Btw, you better get over to videogame forum and defend your beloved Nintendo Switch because people have been speaking very poorly about it lol.

It's a Blake thread. I think it is the only time he has ever posted in VG forum.

So why was gold Kryptonite so scary anyways?

"Permenant power loss!" Ooh, scary. The Legion of Superheroes could have fixed that right up with the Miracle Machine.

I really should post in the VGF, it'll be good to get away from the nonsense in the GDF.

🙄

So I think Ariel the Little Mermaid is the real antagonist of the show.

It was Ariel who petulantly refused to follow her father's royal command and stay where she was safe. It was Ariel who abandoned her duties to kingdom for her own selfish desires. It was Ariel who made a deal with the devil and signed away her soul for a man she didn't even know. And through this it was Ariel who allowed Ursula her opening on King Triton's throne.

Ariel was a spoiled brat who made the worst decisions. Ursula really didn't need to do much at all, just offer her a bad deal and watch her take it.

So deoderants are a scam, right?

Always use them like everyone else, but thinking about it how could anything really descent you through all the sweating and body odour's? Does such a magic exist from wiping some vasoline like substance on the underarms?

I doubt it.

yes, it's actually just masking one scent with another scent. you've cracked the deodorant conspiracy wide open. the people need to know

"Sweat itself does not smell but body odor may occur when bacteria on the skin break down acids contained in the sweat produced by apocrine glands, which are located in the armpits, breasts, and genital-anal area. The bacteria’s waste products are what produce the smell."

A deodorant is a substance applied to the body to prevent or mask body odor due to bacterial breakdown of perspiration in the armpits, groin, and feet, and in some cases vaginal secretions. A subclass of deodorants, called antiperspirants, prevents sweating itself, typically by blocking sweat glands. Antiperspirants are used on a wider range of body parts, at any place where sweat would be inconvenient or unsafe, since unwanted sweating can interfere with comfort, vision, and grip (due to slipping). Other types of deodorant allow sweating but prevent bacterial action on sweat, since human sweat only has a noticeable smell when it is decomposed by bacteria.

But do you believe that?

Absent peer reviewed studies, I'd put that in the same category aa supplements and holistics.

"Cleveland Clinic is consistently ranked as one of the best hospitals in the United States. In 2018–2019, the U.S. News & World Report ranked Cleveland Clinic as the number 2 hospital in the Best Hospitals Honor Roll, as it was nationally ranked in 14 adult and 10 pediatric specialties."

So how long does poison ivy take to peak?

Had this mark on my arm from playful dog claws, and it's since mutated into a red inflamed itchy mass. Clearly she was walking through a patch of poison ivy somewhere.

I hope it’s more than that, I’m here to claim your soul.

I think a mod should fuse all the corona threads into one big super thread. It may make conversation more fluid and traceable.
