It's quite fun playing as Batman in Arkham City. I've finished the story and all the side quests but it'll be a while before I'm done with it completely. Still have lots of combat and predator challenges to beat. Some of them are really hard.
I always thought Asylum had just the right amount of stuff in to make it a reasonably hard challenge to get 100% completion. I think I did everything in City except the predator challenges. I never played Origins. Arkham Knight just went way too far with the amount of stuff to do. Even more than The Witcher III which was a horrible slog to get the platinum trophy. I did it though. The add ons too

From each company, my favorites are: Doctor Fate from DC, Loki from Marvel.Man of Miracles from Image.
Superman always has been and always will be my favorite. Which is why I love the Smallville tv series so much (I've seen most episodes like half a dozen times lol and the rest at least a few times).
He is also my favorite fictional character period, not just comics-related.
Spider-man is my favorite Marvel character.
Darkseid is my favorite fictional villain, with Thanos probably being my third or fourth favorite behind the Kurgan (from Highlander) and Darth Vader (with the suit).

Never played any of the Witcher games (though I've heard a lot of good things about them) but Asylum was really good too. Though I never platinumed it and don't think I ever will. It's some of those extreme combat challenges that prevent me from getting it.
You're getting the full witcher 3 game of the year edition for like 6 bucks now. Definitely worth it. I'm not a big fantasy genre and only got Witcher 2 when it was a free download and loved it which got me hyped for 3. Absolutely phenomenal game though. One of the best plots and group of characters ever. Both add ons are like a full game unto themselves. Blood & Wine in particular is huge where as Heart of Stone the single greatest antagonist in gaming history, for me anyway, with Gaunter O'Dimm.

But if I want to play the 3rd one shouldn't I play the first two first?

I remember that account, lolI have a "Crom laughs at your four winds" shirt, was a gift.
I do love Conan, one of the best quotes from that very quotable movie. Mamoa's Conan isn't bad, it isn't my Conan, but it isn't bad!
I actually maybe like Slaine even more... If you have never read the Slaine TPBs you should!

I've never played 1.
There's a few questions to answer at the opening menu for those who played 2 that relate to whether some minor characters in 3. For example the main antagonist in 2 is another witcher called Letho. One of the questions is whether you killed him or not in 2. If you answer that you let him live then you get a side mission where you meet him and can recruit him to help with a big battle that happens later in the game. There's a few references to relationships between characters that stem from 1 & 2 but nothing that you would need to know to understand the plot or enjoy the game.
Yeah. There's 3 main areas. White Orchard is the 1st which acts as a sort of tutorial area. The 2nd is Velen which is the biggest land area. They're both pretty similar. Based on feudal English history. The 3rd is The Skellige Isles which is huge with 6 main islands and loads of small ones. They're a mix of Scottish & Irish clan systems with Viking sea raiding traditions.
Heart of Stone opens up another massive chunk of land in Velen and Blood & Wine opens up a whole new area called Toussaint which based on Medieval French Knights, codes of Chivalry etc.
Chuck in dragons, vampires, werewolves, harpies, sirens, trolls, hags, witches, succubus', djinn, elementals, elves, dwarves, shapeshifters.
The world building in the game is unreal. Different countries with fleshed histories, cultures, leaders, religions, mythologies etc all loosely based on real countries and their various folk legends. Nilfgaard, for example, is based on the roman empire. Zerrikania is based on Persia.
