I did, holed up in a nice hotel whilst the 6 monthly fumigation went on here. We'd had a couple of snakes in the garden. Didn't dare return to the UK we were worried we might not get back to Africa before work resumed like a lot of ex pats found last year. Boris kept sending mixed messages. So all reconnection was via zoom sadly for my half of my family.
Damn, sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed that things have turned a corner, and soon enough we'll all be able to travel without worries like that.

You asked the question; I answered. Trump's still relevant because he's still the leader of the Republican party and the big lies are still being pushed by the GOP because of him.

Starting to think he was framed for the bombings. The piece is actually a brilliant deconstruction of modern society. He goes after EVERYONE, calls Republicans fools for thinking you can ramp up progress on technologies and not lose touch with traditional values, calls out Democrats, calls out big business.
In other words he burned every possible bridge. If his ideas caught on, goodbye cushy jobs and celebrity lifestyles.
And people have done worse for less. We've started wars and replaced legitimate rulers for less.
