MY GUY Superman stopped being interesting in the 90's. Once they made him too powerful he becomes a pointless character. They had him a various points soundly beat all his villains that could threaten him like darksied, mongul, doomsday, etc. They underused, kill off, or have Superman plot push through other interesting villains like Conduit, He'l, parasite, etc. It's at the point where villains like rogal zaar are seem underwhelming once you realize Superman is going to beat them in an underwhelming way for the threat they represent.
Batman is at least interest in the sense that every storyline is a threat to his character.

You're lucky PR saved you from getting embarassed 😂

You could put them against the writers themselves and they would blitz them.

Yeah THE fact he beat Doomsday at all was nonsensical, it’s not like even the clone wasn’t rapidly adapting, they just gave Superman a plot powered all of a sudden immunity to Doomsday at the end. Mongul was always shown to be stronger and a much better fighter than supes by a decent margin. Mongul Jr was supposed to be greater yet they had Superman beat the sleeve off him soundly. They killed off conduit after making him a potent solid arch nemesis. They bfr’ed He’l to the point that if they wanted to they’d never have to write another story of his again and THERES been a few instances since they could have. Period
