Who's gonna stop you? Bada? He's a Bat-Hulk guy, he won't mind one bit.
I'd have to get Galan to enforce it too, but tbh, I'm not sure it's the right decision to just outright ban them all. Not everyone hates what Doomsday Clock did to the character the way I do.

That mod ruling should come lol. I mean, if it's evident yet people are still raging against it....But yeah, how about that Beast Boy eh
The problem with that, is that I don't half-ass mod rulings. I actually take the time to do the research etc. Plus, we'd have to all come up with a common definition of dynamic strength.

Hate is a strong word. I mean, I don't like you, but I don't particularly dislike you either.
Pizza, though. I hate pizza.

...And they probably always will be. The people who hate/lowball him will always hate/lowball him, and vice versa. ermm
Ok,it's easy to come up with the definition of dynamic strength.
Albert, Carver, JBl et Al can come here and post what they think it is.
Phildo, abhi, Juntai et Al can post what they think it is.
Both sides give relevant issue numbers (so you and Galan etc don't have to trudge through shit loads of comics).
Limit it to five issues or something, the best five which support your side.
Example:
I, DS85, think that Hulk has dynamic strength. By this, I mean that his strength level can change at will, and is reliant on his mental mindset. It isn't the usual 'hero rising to the occasion' story tool, but that his strength is dependent on his mind.
To support this, read Incredible Hulks #345, Hulk #3, Fantastic Four #35, Avengers #56 and Wolverines #4.

I don't think the people making each Superman thread a shitshow have read DD clock. Or read in general.
I understand that. I was talking about how when we last banned the threads, it was because of the belief that Superman was beyond classification more than it was because of trolls.
If we're gonna talk about banning threads just because people are assholes in them, I'd honestly just rather blanket ban the assholes.

I can't make too many promises, but if you want to try that, sure, I'll read anything you come up with.
Originally posted by Galan007Yeah, it's generally hard to change one's mind against blatant facts. The most popular Superman stories, his most popular writers, his thematic and metafictional standing all showing it is generally hard to ignore. But some make this gargantuan effort.
Yeah, but then you'd have to try and find people who have no opinion on the matter to weigh in.I wouldn't be a good judge for that, because I've always believed Superman does have dynamic strength, and feel like his history supports that. It would be...eh...hard to change my mind there.

Then in that case.... surely it's even easier for all of us.
JBL, Alberto et Al post the five issue numbers or they set out their position, plus reasoning.
As far as YOU are concerned, it's evident that he has dynamic strength, correct?
So the other side should have the opportunity to change your mind. If not, it's like me arguing that Spider-Mans real name is Puny Parker - despite all the evidence to the contrary, and it being evident, I am obviously trolling.
EXACTLY.
I have the comics to support my stance that he's called Puny Parker.
You have the comics to support your stance he's called Peter Parker.
Galan thinks he's called Peter Parker.
It's therefore up to me to convince him, to turn it into a mod ruling. Alberto has already started, JBL, Carver, ANYONE else, step up or its Hercs all over again.
