Also studied in college that he was hesitant to break up the union based on his slave-related-actions.

If I get bored, I'll see if I can dig up an academic-level write-up from a mostly neutral historian (hard to find true neutral as they pretty much don't exist). Washington was calculated in his behaviors and words.

Not excusing his actions to enslave humans but he really did live in a different time.

Eh, thanks for the compliment I guess, but the truth is I've always thought that when someone makes a mistake like that they should correct it. I still like CO. She just made an innocent mistake there. Don't think she knowingly put out false info.
