Multiple things can be true at once. It can be true Rittenhouse should not have been there, but it can also be true adults shouldn't have taunted and attacked an armed teenager.

I think we exhausted the topic. The questions behind who when what where why and to what extent now need to be answered to see how culpable Rittyboy is. We know he already broke SOME laws by open carrying.

Actually, I've heard that there are some exemptions in the law for 15-17 year olds carrying rifles or shotguns. haven't been able to confirm.

I'm basing my statement off of the statement made by the police chief during his live briefing on this case where he said open carry is only allowed for 18 and older.
Also, I've lost so much bodyfat lately that the veins on my hands and arms are visible even when I don't have a pump from working out. This is important. Because I'm starving and can afford a few extra calories at the moment.
Back on topic...he said he was protect his place of work. So was he offered money to stand guard? If he was, then that does change things. He could get charged for being an unlawful security officer?

Nice! I hope some of mine help. Don't forget to use my "minimum charges" argument because no matter what, Ritters DID break the law. Best outcome is he is cleared of all charges and they make a special exemption for his open carry violation. That's the best outcome. Likely outcome is he gets one or more charges stick. This is not a clear cut and dry case.
