Superman is a power battery.

And ki is life energy, odds are he can sip it like soda through a straw and amp up.

Ki is like magic to Superman. He doesnt absorb all forms of energy. Bills destroy the Universe before anyone can react.

Correction, ki is like magic in comics. It has no magical properties whatsoever in Dragon Ball, and magic is a clearly distinct power.

Beerus was already on the higher-end cosmic level during BoG... And even now, the implication is that he's still above MUI Goku.

And Whis is so far above Beerus that he can KO him with a casual chop.
