GT does lack in the feat department for sure.

That said, scaling(which is really all we have to go by in GT) puts the likes of SS4 Goku at tens of thousands of times above Z Goku.

The Kais did imply that Omega's Minus energy would indeed destroy the universe(inc. their own realm), so it's probably not hyperbole. However, the implication is that it would've happened in a sort of chain reaction event, so there's no telling how long it would have taken.

Example, this attack was 4 times more powerful than his planet buster against Vegeta in the Saiyan saga. It might be more than 4 times since this attack came from a Goku far more powerful. This wasn't his max though...

Gokus base Kamehamehas against Freeza would be like 93x more powerful than his x4 Kaioken Kamehameha against Vegeta...... because his power level is 3 million at right there.

Also, we have zero clue how much more powerful Buu Saga Goku is than Freeza saga Goku in power level.
